This slide show is about finding peace and reprieve in the dark and tangled memories of millions of innocent people who have been severely traumatized. As a result, their lives as they once knew it is smashed into a million pieces. It's about great loss and believing that life can never be beautiful again. I know, I was sitting there beside you in that deep black hole that was the only scenery I could see or wanted to see. It's very very cold there so you must learn to build a fire within to warm yourself by. You can do that, you know? You just need a few lessons on how.
As a survivor of 40 years, I want to encourage you that it can be and will be beautiful once again if you seek it with all your heart, soul and mind. There are many unexpected moments of beauty and joy waiting for you. Your mind is waiting for new memories to enter and dwell there. Start collecting them one by one and you will be replenished by them even if it is one drop at a time. Squeeze the juice out of the moments and soon your glass will be filled up and you will go "gulp gulp" and want some more.
Don't quit. There are lots of "beautiful" people waiting for you throughout this long journey to the land harvested for healing memory. You'll never see it if you don't believe me and I am telling you, it is there. Go see for yourself.
