Here's a great version of this song I taped over in Ft Worth, TX at the Bass Hall side room called McDavid Studio. He plays some licks here that I've never heard him play before, so I'm especially fond of this footage.

Have sat in with Bugs, known him 40 years, Buddy Henderson is the real deal. A lot of the younger kids make fun of him here on you tube. But what they fail to realize, is Bugs is genuine, he's not copying anyone else's chops he has his own. I honestly think Buddy never wanted the huge stardom, he likes hanging out in public too much. He'd rather be playing some Ice House over by the stockyards, and making enough to get by, and be content as Hell. Rock On Shuffle King love ya Bro....Big Mark

Prob. seen Bugs like in the nbhood of around 40 times in at least 20 venues, mostly Poor Davids Pub twixt them years of 78 and 2001. What a purist and no nonsense guy.

He came down to Soap Creek in Austin with a couple of students in around '85, they did "Layla" note for note - man did they lay it down....
