The history of the Iraqi Artists Association, or IAA, given by its co-founder and president, Ms. Weam Namou Yatooma. The IAA is dedicated to Iraqi artists worldwide for them to expand their opportunities and exposure, while serving as a unifying center for community information and interaction. One of the Iraqi Artists Association's major tasks is to restore the forgotten connection between ancient Mesopotamian civilization and Iraqi culture and society of the present-day.
