@KAAllitt What really doesn't help matters is Nolan seems compelled to shove as much overly-expository (unnecessary and redundant) dialogue as possible.
Not saying Begins and TDK are bad, though.

Despite the fact that everything in this film looks like it's made out of cardboard, they got the mystique surrounding Batman right. Nolan rushed through The Dark Knight leaving nothing mysterious, it seemed like they tried to fit too much in.
