http://www.scene-stealers.com Eric Melin from Scene-Stealers and guest host Whitney Mathews (www.whitneymathews.com) review the new bromance comedy "I Love You, Man," starring Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Jon Favreau, Jaime Pressly, Rashida Jones, J.K. Simmons, and Andy Samberg. "I Love You, Man" gives Paul Rudd a chance to flex his leading man chops, but does it give him a good character or script to work with? Find out in this on-camera movie review of "I Love You, Man" from Scene-Stealers.com.

  • You guys have really bad green screen.

  • we know! this was shot in an office during a 10 minute lunch break on green cloth with NO lights. it was either shoot then, or wait until a week after the movie was released to shoot.

  • I thought this movie was hilarious- but I thought the movie was trying to parody those stereo-typical cliches of romantic comedies but maybe thats just what I thought.

  • was it a parody, or just lazy writing?

  • Im thinking it was a parody of the rom-com structure. John Hamburg probably parodied himself on purpose (who did Along Came Polly). Think about it, Sydney's dog is Polly's ferret and the two bros break up but get back together just like Stiller and Aniston.

  • That's a callback, not a parody. I think you're giving him too much credit. It's a formula picture if there ever was one. Granted, the "bro-mance" element is a new twist, but it's not a parody. Everybody breaks up and gets back together in romcoms.

  • the film is a parody of rom-coms where it uses romantic comedy cliches evecept its from 2 guys from what I've hered in many other reviews and by the looks of the trailer is what it is trying to do (yet i haven't seen it yet as its out in the uk on the 17th aprill)
