MASK - Searching for the statue...

Here is a very unusual scene from the MASK episode "Assault on Liberty". The animators take what should be an uninteresting scene and make the search for the Statue of Liberty a visually interesting one. The key to nearly every shot in this scene is that the direction is of a high standard. Look carefully for the shot where Matt Trakker is in Thunderhawk; as he flies past a building we see an unexpected reflection, proving that the director wanted to make this scene stand out.
