Thats my favorite part! :D
-
Very Good! Try to emphasize the A in the A - D, A -D (eight- 16th) This is just a good tip when performing for audition or performance! The D on the flute has a much stronger color... so it has to be compensated for! This was a trick tought to many Marcel Moyse students.

nice "chunk" well played!
what group is this?
-
i like it, good for you!
-
bit too airy for my taste on parts. i dont hear enough of the notes, kinda like you cut them off to soon for them to come out.
-
Everywhere, and you can hear it pretty easily.
-
where's your vibrato?
-
1911 then. Cool.

this is not the part of the soloflute! Its 2nd or 3rd flute. Young man, you need some more practice (pitch controll!) and your play could have more passion

The part I am playing is indeed the first flute part of the earlier edition of Petrushka, the pitch is due to the fact that our director put 2 flutes on this part and as amateurs, of course its not perfect, but should have been worked on.

That was some pretty good playing from you other than the page turn messup. (Who doesn't hate disfunctional page turns?) Which version were you playing?
It's odd, actually, since I've done the 2nd violin part of the 1947 version of this piece, and hearing it from a wind standpoint is kind of... odd...

this is the original version of the piece with the larger orchestration than the 1947 one. but yeah, thats pretty much what I hear.
