I think you'd be suprised by the way many pure mathematicians think about numbers.... almost all think of mathematics as being this sort of pre existing world that they're exploring...and the way they feel about numbers can be quite mystical, and often based on an intuitive feeling for them.... I personally think of doing pure maths as being like a form of meditation.

@dudestube I have absolutely no background in music what so ever. I have never played any instrument.
About 11 years ago I nearly died & spent over a decade obsessed with Pythagorean Philosophy as it relates to the Mysticism of Sound Vibration & Harmonics...
I was untimately inspired to commission a series of stringed musical instruments with this in mind.

In his fifties...after 23 years in Egypt.. Pythagoras returned to Greece & taught the heliocentric orientation of our solar system. The Egyptians had known this & were able to prove it for a long time.
