Hamilton County Commission passed a resolution to ask Ohio State legislators to pass a bill to allow the County Prosecutor to waive low level offenses that are more than 7 years old. The offenses must be non-violent and a minor crime. This will free-up jail space, save money and keep police from wasting time sitting idly in court for petty offenses that are ultimately dismissed.
