My son Connor was fishing at Lower Beverley Lake Park in Ontario and caught a sunfish with a Northern Water Snake attached. The snake wouldn't let go and, after we gave the fish to the snake, it took about 30 minutes in total for it to consume it. This is only the last few minutes of it and I am obviously not a professional videographer, lol.

  • So poisonous!

  • Pretty cool!

  • I was fishing there today!! Lots of sunfish, but no snakes. Just as well, I don't need to see any snakes!!

  • He turned into a cobra!

  • Cool! With that fish in his throat he looks like a cobra. Sometimes I think that using our cameras to capture what we see really focuses our attention - it kind of slows down time - so we can appreciate what's happening. Other times, I think cameras get in the way of a given experience. I sense that you spent some quiet time with that animal and got to know it through your lens. Good job.

Check out my video on Ontario Snakes. It's chock full of snakey goodness.
