"Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them...and the rest of that line is not important because upon the first time hearing that you piss your pants, your friend spits out his drink, all reality seems nonsense, and you can happily die now having heard the funniest line in movie history.

To clear it up, Tarantino wrote the screenplay. Robert Rodriguez directed it.
And the "psycho" line is the funniest line in the movie.
