DETENTE - Holy War

From the album entitled RECOGNIZE NO AUTHORITY which was released in the early 1980s. The singer was DAWN CROSBY who died in 1996. There is a rumor that the band is back again and that either Doro or Ann Boleyn from Hellion will be singing.

From what I could see, Ann's talents were being wasted in Detente. I was looking forward to hearing her on the new album. But, I have to agree that this band is hopelessly stupid when it comes to the band members the chose to get rid of!

My crew and I played this album to death until it finally broke off a big chunk of the album. We could still play "Russian Roulette" since it was in the innermost edge...and we did, over and over. It makes me so happy to see my brothers and sisters posting and chatting about this stuff.

if you like Female metal singers...search for Holy Moses...Thrash Metal band from the 80's Sabina Classen's voice is fucking awesome...Dawn's voice kicks ass too
