The Art O Neill Challenge is an arduous trek from city centre Dublin to the Glenmalure Valley, tracing the escape route of Art O Neill and Red Hugh O Donnell in 1592.
The 2011 Art O'Neill Challenge took place on the 7th of January at Midnight, where walkers and ultra runners weaved through the 55km route; starting from Dublin Castle, via Kippure House, Ballinagee Bridge, Arts Cross and finishing in the Glenmalur Valley.
