a Mike Johnson Yodelin' Song: "Yeah I'm A Cowboy"

Mike Johnson is no stranger to horses or six-guns as these photos of him taken in Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Arizona, and Colorado reveal. Also pictured are some of his many boots and [30] belt buckles. He also has over a dozen cowboy hats.

His song, "Yeah I'm A Cowboy" [written in October 1978] has been making it's rounds since 1987. Most recently on the September 2006 "Rough Guide To Yodel" CD, compiled by Bart Plantenga, and released by the World Music Network in London, which features the yodel songs of 18 world famous Yodelers.

In December 2007 it was released on Mike's "Yodeling 40 Years" 2-disc CD featuring 50 yodeling songs written & composed by him, and available from Roughshod Records. Its been so good to us that we gave it some special treatment for 2010 and released it as a single with accompanying sheet music in a very attractive folio, which has been getting some great reviews of its own.
