@richardshapiroII We do work in breath holds on a regular basis and KK is a good man and teacher.

there are many ways to use holding of breath in systema. you probably could incorporate it into any drill, to increase the awareness of the tension patterns in your body.
but that is a disadvantage exercise for practice. you don't want to learn how to hold breath in general, but let it be full and comfortable.
konstantin komorov has vids on fear on vlad's channel, it explains the breath work quite well.
best of training, and thanks for posting, ransuru!

@eirikheggelund in theory, if you have perfect control and relaxation, there is no difference whether you use a fist or a knife or a stick or a whip or a palm or a backhand or a finger... hope that gets the point across

@ransuru I know that friend. I have trained Krav Maga and then after that I started training Systema. The situation that you have in your country arises tension , not relaxation. Hence my question.
-
@Tremmmm I already answered this question. Please refer to it and avoid considering pressure only from the outside.

On the video I see you hold your breath, mabe it just seems to me, but if you make and public educational video, your breath should be very explicit
-
not so missleading, just confusing more so in my opinion, still it was a great video, as allways thanks from England

@eirikheggelund I explain this in the video. You work on the fist to learn to relax and allow the impact to move through the body and thus learn better mechanics of your own body. Another point is that it is much harder to lever you on your fist than if you place your palm on the ground. The fist does not stick.
How is systema perceived in Israel ?

@RexBaselio It is a martial art. Some see the positive effect of the practice and some call it bad names. To each their own.
