My attempt to play the bass line of Rush's A Farewell To Kings from the album with the same title. This song was the lead off track on Rush's 1977 Progressive rock masterpiece and deals with the theme of humanity moving from a feudal anarchy to a sophisticated democracy. The bass line is among Rush's most challenging.
The bass i am using is the Fender Geddy Lee Signature Jazz Bass and i am playing through a distortion pedal. The video was recorded using a Zoom Q3 Video Recorder.
