Alright, so John Mayer's definitely my favorite artist right now. He's so incredibly capable of writing these bone chilling melodies and piercing lyrics. I definitely think he's the most under-rated musician of our time. Anyways, I was fooling around on the guitar today and just put a few John Mayer songs together into a cover.

This is my cover of a guitar medley of John Mayer songs. I did a Who Says Cover, Heart of Life Cover, Stop This Train Cover, and Comfortable Cover. The first time I heard "Who Says," I couldn't help but notice the rhythmic resemblance between it and Stop This Train. The guitar technique and lugging drum beat give them a similar sound.

I had to change the key of Heart of Life and Comfortable to make it fit. This is pretty much just me jamming to some JMay songs.. I did it in one take, and I know it's not as neat as it should be. Please let me know what you think by rating/commenting/ and subscribing.

John Mayer's album, Battle Studies, comes out on November 17th, but John released a preview of his single "Who Says" a few weeks ago. There's been a lot of controversy about this song. I'd love if you guys would let me know what you think. Is the song too basic? Too inappropriate? An accurate reflection of John's song writing abilities? Or just a plain great song? Please comment and gimme your opinion :)

Kelly you are fantastic - but that percussive is too clicky - you need to put make it more emphatic - it should be a stronger thump - not like fingernails scratching on a blackbor
