you don't have to justify buying a cheap guitar, but I'd love to see you attempt to justify spending $3000 on a gibson when there are guitars that are just as good for about $500

I kick myself in the nuts everyday for selling my silver super sonic about 8 years ago!

I'm about to get one of these beauties!

This guitar is versatile as fuck i can even get nice sludge metal sounds outta it, honestly the only guitar i wanna play for the rest of my life nd i plan on hunting more down in the future

How is this beast on Foo Fighters?

I had the exact same guitar in blue sparkle too a few years back. regret selling it.

Question, you meant the original owner turned it into a lefty right? because the way it is Is the way it supposed to be, so he ruined (in a way) the guitar by re screwing the nut upside down... Kinda makes no sense I mean why didn't he just buy a jaguar or a jazzmaster? Because aside from the controls a super sonic is just an upside down jaguar to right handers.

you and I sir both park our cars in the same garage when it comes to jamming out...peace.

i actually prefer squier to fender tbh :L
gibson, and epiphone and ibanez etc etc can go to hell!
exept the epiphone et270 ;)
i really want a supersonic :(

Sounds cheap & plastic, I will stick with Gibson any day.
The strap button is supposed to be on the neck plate.

@boaromir - True. But I really don't like it there.

I bought this same guitar in 1998, same sparkle blue and everything, and it played real nice. I was stupid enough to give it to my brother who quickly traded it in on a Fender Mustang which didnt play half as nice as this guitar. I bought it brand new at mainley music in Potsdam NY for $199!

@usblues100 - mistake by your bro for the Mustang. Super Sonics are far cooler.

Thanks for the demo. I may be a pain in the ass and I think the guitar sounds good but can you do a demo where you use the other pickups and less distortion. I am really interested in one of these guitars but there are only a few demos on YouTube and they mostly done with everybody cranking up the distortion and I can't tell what this guitar actually sounds like. Thanks.

I know what you mean. I'd be glad to do that for ya if I still had this guitar. Just sold it last week. Was a cool guitar - just didn't play it as much. Couldn't quite get comfortable on the 24" scale.
