http://live.pirillo.com - We talk about new technology as it comes out quite a lot. While home visiting my parents at this time, I've noticed how much my parents are behind the times when it comes to tech. Here in my old bedroom, there's actually a small television with an antenna on it. That's right... no cable.

  • @killerdodo1234 same

  • Beta max was better, played longer, and was like 20 bajillion times the price!

  • I know these old Tech I was born in 1995

  • We have an old tv that I got from walmart that I got back in 2001 fro college and it still works. Regular tv not flat screen

  • Partially senile octogenarians can operate today's browsers and OSs. Surfing the web requires less brain power than programming a VCR. People are addicted to buying and using consumer products. They haven't a clue how to create or repair any of these products. Unless you're programming, you're just another bonehead consumer like everyone else. "Generation Y" consumers are no more tech savvy or evolved than their grandparents. They're just accustom to buying increasingly user-friendly products

  • im from iowa too :(

  • @0neofthem it's a HD webcam ustream makes it look like that

  • I deal my reel-to-reel tapes by playing them.. and when a side is played, i flip the reels over and play it again. That same method I use for vinyls and even C-tapes. It ain't that hard. Those things don't have DRM or such, so i can play those over and over again, even lend those to my friends, and heck, I can even copy those tapes!

My question is... How do YOU deal with NEW technology? :D
