We aren't trying to scare people into Heaven, we are simply trying to show them the consequences of their choices. It's no different from the smoking kills commercial on TV that show the results of smoking. No one is forced to be there & no is forced to accept Christ. They are told of the sacrifice Christ made for them & told how God's justice won't allow sin in Heaven. They are also told of God's grace & how he made a way to Heaven through His Son. They are free to accept or deny Christ.

No, we don't know exactly what Hell is like, thank God. But we do what we can to portray it in a Biblical manner. We did the advisor way the first year to demonstrate how Satan works through all kinds of way to get at people. This year, we changed the Hell scene & had no Satan. The lead, a demon made up as a fallen angel, explains that Satan walks the earth as a roaring lion, seeking those whom he may devour.

God is a jealous God. Not "egomaniacal" He has the right to be jealous, he made us and we deny him everyday with almost evey move we make. God created the entire universe, we are not worthy of telling Him how to act toward his creation. He sent his ONLY son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. By doing that he showed us His love. Do not ver blaspheme Him.

@LadyGunnOfMopar i went the judgement house this year and there was a satan. because he got in my face and scared the crap out of me. this scene always gets to me. and he also pulled a girl out the crowed.

@OJD001 It's okay. I don't mind not being saved. I mean even if I thought there was something I needed saving from, most of the really interesting people are likely to be in Hell anyway.

And the joke was that Darth Vader is awesome.

my church used to do judgement house and i wish we still did because it was a big success, and even if it wasnt there could still be only a few people to get saved and that would make a big difference. just knowing that i helped somebody see the truth makes me feel soo good and know that im doing something that makes God proud makes me feel even better, i knew i was doing something that we are here for, spreading the word :)

@acolytexiv what exactly is the joke?, because i wasnt laughing, i didnt hear any joke, u just dont want to admit to anything, it would br really smart to consider what it would actually be like without being saved, or ever think of how much better it would be of you were. u'll wish it was a joke when ur there, hopefully you wont be though, i hope you see one day that your wrong, before its too late. i hope you change your mind :)

I really do not agree with any of this. Where is any of this in the Bible. We should only go by what the Bible tells us about Hell. I doubt 100% any of this has ever happened? Dont you know that Satan is a fallen angel so he might not look evil and he uses that to get us to sin. Hell is a pit of fire and full of suffering. Satan doesnt need advisees about wat is going on in the world he is everywhere like God. The truth is we dont know what Hell looks like.

Ah, but that isn't the God of the Right Wing Fundamentalists / Evangelicals. Their God is an egomaniacal, self - absorbed, perpetually angry being who steers planes into buildings & orders His followers to kill abortion doctors & fire - bomb gay night - spots & hate anyone who is significantly different from them.

This " Hell - House " seems a little less LAME than most. Religion through FEAR..... Wow.
