Hey metaid71! I was stationed at Cannon A.F.B.,New Mexico when I first got wind of this incredible band.It to was 1975.I just ordered their Bustin' Out at the Seams CD.The harmony has not changed one bit since then! I assume you were in the Navy,I would like to thank you for your service! I am retired Air Force.I do not think I could handle being in a sub,but music like this would have pulled me through.
Listened to them the first time when I was 400 ft under water in a submarine in 1975. Hero's and Heroines. Still have the vinyl album. Incredible music.
Great music, great song. The guys are as good as ever - can anyone imagine the likes of U2 singing and playing a gig like that thirty years from now? Or even now, for that matter! Great stuff, lads. Those were the days.

I've just got tickets to see the Strawbs in November, not having seen them before and thought it would be a bit of a change! :o))

A former DTI agency hq hosting a big folk rock band? Would never have happened under Mrs T.
