There is a fine line for having a good time, and common courtesy. Acting like a bunch of alpha males and refusing to meet others halfway is flat out RUDE. It has nothing to do with race, but yet there's those folks who love to go against society's norms and act like douchebags. In turn, making their OWN set of rules.

Yes, some blacks are like this. It sucks, but I think as blacks we should still be offended that whites/non-blacks see us this way. Why are we trying to kneel down and appeal to non-blacks? Yes, some blacks are this way. Others are not. I know this first hand, but, why are we apologizing for it? If you yourself didn't do it (black person), don't apologize for anything.

im black and my family, in public settings, have never been obnoxiously loud like that ever. but sadly, i have often times encountered other groups of black folk who were pretty loud and annoying.

I'm black and I know how loud blacks can be. I've had a similar experience at an outdoor bistro on cleveland, they were so fricking loud, yet all the white friends I was with simply pretended like they couldn't hear the rawkus that was going on behind us.
