The Eric Bogle folk song "I'm Easy", sung by Willie Cryan & Mr. McDermott, from Cryan's Pub, Mohill, Ireland. From my web site LittleShamrocks.com: Food, Recipes and Travel Adventures from the Emerald Isles.
good christ who cares? I mean the greatest Irish WW1 song is writen by the same Australian Scot. Hell the Greatest WW1 Aussie song is by the same fella, but the best version is by the the children of eire, the pogues.
This is not a traditional Irish folk song. It is very much an Australian song about the life of an Australian "cocky" (farmer), written by the great Scottish-Australian singer, Eric Bogle. Australia has claimed a lot of Irish folk songs as their own, but this is not one of them.
