  • If caucasian pianist play like this, you will consider him or her a great pianist. It seems there is a double standard. If Asian play too clean = robot, understanding and well plan structure = too schematic...

  • dude, learn how to use a video editor...you had 6 minutes of some commentator, plus another useless minute of talking heads, but you CHOPPED THE ACTUAL PIECE OF MUSIC?!!? Nice priorities.

  • @apluspianist and Zimmermann is not as good as Blechacz - real winner of this contest.

  • @Cudaran u can this title is false - u can see a lot of videos of REAL winner of 2005 contest - Rafał Blechacz - polish pianist firs winner after 30 years - his a genius. This Korean guy was third - second place was not given, as Blechacz was so much better then others.

  • @lsbrother if u listen to polish compositor, deal with polish commentator, one of gratest experts of Chopins music:P

  • Not good as Zimerman

  • waste of time - 6+ minutes of some guy speaking presumably polish and 3 minutes of piano - ridiculous!!

At least edit the recording before putting it out

  • i wanna see the video of competition, especially the moment he found a tuning tool in the piano while playing. where can i see?

  • epic i just randomly clicked the bar and went straight to the first note of the ballade :D

  • Have to be patient to wait through the talking drivel, cant you edit it out? And the huge wait before the beginning. Want to hear more of this brilliant pianist.

  • @PianoRon I agree with this, but I think in general today's pianists aren't so great. They don't have as good understanding and mastery of the pieces as those pianists from the first half of 20th century

  • Wow, what a nice piano playing, also the piano sounds out of this word ... We will watch Lim's performances, he is a great young talent by all means !
