We were in Australia backpacking - I don't think she wanted to carry her ponytail with her for that long. That is something she totally would have done though!

You guys should have put it in a pony then chop it off so you could donate it to locks of love :)

@PorcelainRabbit Then we would have had to carry it around with us for 6 months of travel - something feels weird about that.
