This is one of the best versions I ever saw on youtube or anywhere for that matter. I really love the simplicity of one voice (a very good one) and one instrument (well played too), this is the perfect setting for a song like "Danny Boy"

What an amazing vocal performance! Beautiful.

A young lady with great promise, well done. If I may suggest however, try the song in another key, go down a tone so that you don't have to strain to reach the higher notes. Also if you listen to some of the old timers out there you will hear they put a bit more feel to it rather than singing it as a choir arrangement. 10 out of 10 for effort.

Incredible! You have a good teacher, a good voice and good player.

Your beautiful voice and rendition has reached Australia. Wow! Such clear top notes and even while sitting! and playing at the same time. Hope we hear lots more of you through Jack's channel. God bless ...

Unfortunately, she's moved on to other pursuits. So, I'm not sure if I'll ever get her back in the studio again. She's a member of an all-girl singing group that she performs a lot with, but I don't know if they have any videos posted on You Tube yet, or not.

I can't believe you did either! It's about time you checked in here, Chris! No, but seriously, I'm glad you finally did, otherwise you would have missed out on this most lovely rendition of one of my favorite songs.

Wow, I know you're probably focused on the guitar playing itself, but she has an amazing voice.

Actually, I really appreciate it when my guitar students can sing! It makes my job so much easier! There's nothing like wanting to be able to accompany yourself to motivate you to practice. Since I play by ear, I also mainly teach by ear. With students like this, it's a real joy!
