@23lohnro 5 per person,10 per person in possession. 9cm legal & only one larger than 12cm. This video was filmed to showcase the Murray Cray. The footage of them whilst we were sorting was to show you how many we were catching at a time. And for your info the majority of crays were well & truly larger than the 9cm. Almost ALL of the crays were RELEASED!!! We don't eat them & kept a couple for the aquarium. Thanks for caring about Murray Crays enough to make a comment.

@maddogcallow Great to hear from a responsible crayer! I agree with you 100%
I only eat yabbies, redclaw & marron, mostly all farmed. I would never eat one of the spiny cray species. Like you mention, they take so damn long to grow/mature & can run into big problems if overfished.
A few were taken home & put in the fish tank as pets but def none eaten! Catch & release or keep as pets, please don't eat them! :-)

Just wondering what bait you recomend? and also just curious why there were gum leaves in the containers? Cheers Anthony.

@anthacdc We were using big chunks of smelly old carp. Leaves & branches in the container is to stop them from injuring/killing each other. Calms them down a little. Cheers mate.
