Chinese troops oppress Buddhist monks and Tibetan people on March 14, 2008.
To Chinese people,
I want you to know the truth, what the Chinese government did and is doing to people in Tibet.
Not only Tibetan people, but we Chinese civilians are also suffering from the government.
Let's change China into a better country.

Chinese Falun Gong practitioners I've met are pretty cool people. And many of them are busy telling the truth about what the EVIL Regime of China does.

massive drop in the cost of cars BOUGHT in NZ.

When our family bought our first Japanese car a long time ago it was amazing how reliable it was compared to the British car we sold. It was very cheap to run because it didn't break down.
.
Secondhand Japanese car imports were responsible for a massive drop in the cost of cars made in NZ. Young people can now buy high powered sports cars for less than $10,000. In 1983 a Datsun 1200 cc car with 140,000 km (which meant it was nearly history) on it was NZ $5000.

The price of anything to do with computers has come down drastically over the years. My father who has been into PCs for a long time used to say that computers will always cost $3000 (NZ). That ceased to be true a long time ago.
.
One reason why products from Japan are expensive is because Japanese workers are well paid. Probably as a result of them producing quality products that are in demand.

@FalunGongIsAmazing ------------>I do remember the "Made in Japan" products and what u say is ABSOLUTELY correct about their quality. However, it must be noted that before the "Made in China" era, maybe 5 guys in my town could afford a laptop. Now even the local butcher can afford......Chines and Nippon products are for COMPLETELY different markets.
China touched on markets that were out of reach from Japanese products because of the pricing factor. Can Japan make laptop for 6000 Rupees??

Japan realised that if you want to make money quality is the way to go. Japan perfected the manufacturing process. Quality means less defective products. I think Mercedes (or another top german car manufacturer) went to Japan to learn about quality control.
.
Japanese cut down on defective parts so the finished product is more reliable.

If you do bad things you generate bad karma for yourself, so you are more likely to get sick. If you get seriously sick you can die.
.
So if you have high moral values and don't do bad things you should live longer. AS Demonstrated by the Japanese.
.
We have lots of Chinese products in NZ. "The Warehouse" a major and very popular department store chain in NZ is full of it. My SIM card broke down in less than 2 months. You can guess where that was made.

@FalunGongIsAmazing --------------->What does that have 2 do w/ karma and getting sick?????? Where did the Japanese come from? Sure Japanese products are great, if u can afford 2 pay 4 them. And today, most products from Japan are manufactured in.....China. China goes on quantity vs quality model, Japan goes on a quality vs quantity model. NZ is a high income area, and can perhaps afford Jpn product in bulk. Chinese products are meant 4 developing world.
