A cheap and easy way to make your own foam stamps perfect for your Art journal's and mixed media Art. I have just done this quickly you can take your time and cut out your shapes nicely and ink or paint your stamps for the perfect impression.

Is it possible to cut the shapes for stamps and keep the background for a template to also use? Just wondering if an exacto knife would work, then you'd have stamps AND stencil. Don't know what works best cutting foam since I've never tried this.
Either way you made it easy to learn and I'm inspired to try making some stamps now. I bought the foam a while ago but never got around to trying before, lol :-)

Great idea...you could also glue the stamps to old thread spools or something to make it easier to hold.

I am doing this. Thanks for sharing. I am thinking about gluing to plexi, so I can see where I am stamping!
