@Fnkychld my friend. It was just a expression. Toronto has the most skyscrapers going up in all of north america. It wil definetley surpass Chicago and soon look like New York.
Good Video. But it shows more of Toronto than the hotel itself. Which, from a spectator point of view, seems like the title for this particular video is rather inaccurate & somewhat misleading.
@cynicalbluewhale lmao no it isn`t city proper population of Toronto has way more people than Detroit, lmao please you`re making me laugh, do you also forget that the US and Canada measure population differently.
Oddly Toronto is actually at a rough population parity with Detroit, Michigan, at least in terms of metropolitan areas. the GTA is about 5.6 million now, or at least that's what I'd guess, the Detroit-Windsor Combined Statistical Area hit 5.7 million in 2006. Given that, look how drastically different these two cities are. What's truly astounding is the sheer level of urban development Toronto has for it's size compared to a US city of almost identicle population.
Toronto is becoming a condo kingdom. There is so many condos being built in the GTA. By 2014, Toronto will not be the same. The immence growth of residential and business is off the scale and plus the city is starting to try and catch up by building new subways and stations to combat with the cities needs.

@Toronto324
Clearly you've never been to New York. The CBD of Toronto can fit in Central Park alone.
