  • The greatest. It's Nashville's shame that Dale will never be recognised at award shows. Meanwhile, crap like Kenny Chesney are given credit.

  • Amen, Brother!

  • @michaelsacoma 'nuff, said...

  • @handsupbud he was around in the 80's tattoos and would'nt buckle under to nashville pimps

  • simply country at its best, charlie rich would be proud ,

  • doesnt get any better, from up here in maine ,this trucker really digs dales music and his style, roll on

  • If Dale had come along in the early 80's he'd be rich now...show'd up a little too late.

  • Rock solid country -

  • This guy is awesome, hands down the best country artist out there.

  • Don't forget his band as well....he couldn't do it without them.

My first visit to Nashville (from Scotland) was in 1982 and the commercialisation of C&W was eveident then. In 1985 when I was playing old-time banjo I was surprised at how few venues there were in Nashville to listen to real blugrass (Station Inn and the Wind in the Willows with the larger-than-life Hubert Davis).

Thank the lord for Dale Watson!...."Lang may his lum reek" (Scots for "May he have a long life")

    Slainthe, John.

  • Dale ,he is the most honest country singer going.

  • one of the last bastions for true country music
