Bruce Springsteen & Axl Rose - Come Together [1994]

Axl joins Bruce Springsteen for this song at the 1994 Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony.This duet was originally scheduled/planned for Rod Stewart and Elton John. Rod Stewart didn't make the event because of the earthquake in Los Angeles shortly before the event. As Bob Weir/John Popper and others performed on stage, the production personnel approached Bruce with the lyrics to Come Together. Bruce politely refused, repeatedly. The producers then approached Axl Rose who was at the next table over. Axl agreed and then pulled up a chair next to Bruce. After a minute or two of conversation, Axl put the lyrics on the table and Bruce and Axl hovered over the paper for a few minutes. As Bob Weir/John Popper left the stage, Bruce and Axl simply got up, walked onto the stage and rocked. No rehearsal. No practice. Amazing to witness.

Unfortunately this was the last Axl's performance until 2001.

We lost years and years of rock and roll with Axl. It is very sad...

I hope he will play in Europe this year, great tour in Asia 2009...

@MrRC1992 bruce is one of the greatest rockstars ever, and axl's up there too, but they both sound really bad on there vocal parts. Bruce's rhythm guitar part kind of kills the groove that is already pretty sketchy. Cool if you like this video, I just think it really sucks, and you don't need to defend bruce and axl, i know they're awesome.

@MrRC1992 no, the video. the singing is terrible, the band isn't tight at all, and if you listen to the beatles' recording it's obvious that this is vastly inferior. I love axl and bruce, but this is about the worst i've seen them.
