I would like to leave everyone with a poem in the memory of Mrs. Billingsley: The sun goes down and leaves warmth upon the land. The tide recedes and leaves seashells in the sand. The music stops and echoes in sweet refrain...for all you've given only beautiful memories will forever remain. This is our second mother that everyone grew up with in the 50's and 60's. You are truly a class act and will be sadly missed by everyone. You will always be in our hearts and memories. R.I.P. Barbara.

I've always loved Leave it to Beaver, and especially June Cleaver. It was basically the way I lived my young life at the same time. I'm going to visit her grave on the way to work this week. One of the advantages of being in Santa Monica.

She always looked good. She brings back memories because as a kid back then these actors were a part of my life and television was a big deal back then! I remember my grandad telling me all he had was a radio growing up!
