Kyle and Oliver Election Day 11 3 09

Since this story was set to play out the day before state elections, Im wondering if it had any affect on viewers in states, like Maine, where marriage equality is on the ballot.
Of course there is really no way to know.

Robert Krimmer is returning to the show as Rev. Andrew Carpenter for a brief stay. Why does this matter? Longtime OLTL fans will recall that Andrew was heavily involved in the Billy Douglas coming out storyline in the late 80s. He was the one who helped the teenager (played by film star Ryan Phillippe) deal with his sexuality as well as the homophobia gripping Llanview at the time. Andrews return is connected to the Oliver/Nick/Kyle storyline, tying the two landmark plots together.

David Gregory (Ford, the Reality Show Producer) will be returning on a full-time basis as Ford in December! Dont know how long he will stay around.

oh how i love how kyle says 'i love you too, oliver' *-* so adorable.

but the kiss they were eventually allowed to have was very sweet

it looked like the two actors were relaxed and comfortable with shooting this scene

the first kiss they had to perform looked like the straight one was very unsure about it (although he had to take the initiative in that scene)

but now it looks real

maybe it helped that kyle had to kiss nick a couple of times

or maybe they have rehearsed a lot since then in private :D

I agree with ForeverHope100 on this one. Sure they're in love but it's been so long since they've been 'together' and even then, their relationship was a secret.

Besides, a perfect romance would be boring >:) I want drama!

they are cute, but you can tell that the producers of this show are not really that comfortable with two guys making out

to me it seems that they are eagerly avoiding intimacy by let them walking around and exaggerating possible problems

on a german soap they may have discussed the same topics but they would let them kiss and cuddle all the time, cause they have figured out that the chicks really dig watching it

I understand your point too. I do agree that Oliver didn't need to break away from Kyle that fast, but I think Oliver was trying to feel confertable with himself, becasue remember he said right after he left Kyle's arms that he never been on a date with a guy before. He loves Kyle no dout about that but phyically showing it maybe harder for Oliver then Kyle. (I am not sure though, just my POV)

i understand that, but i don't agree that it makes things interesting - i think it's unnatural and distracting. i mean, kyle puts his arm around fish and then fish quickly moves away. if this were real life i would think he was uncomfortable with kyle touching him, which doesn't make sense for two guys supposedly in love.

Can I can answer that question for you! The reason why actors move around on set like this is to keep the scene interesting. I mean it is about movment, if they stay put like in the begging the scene becomes static and not very intersting to the eye, but if one moves then things become intersting with body moment and things....
