Couldn't agree more. This is one guy I don't want on my side. It's one thing to know your rights, it's another to be an asshole for little to no reason. He's hurting the cause, plain and simple.
Note from this video a few things:
1. He was, in fact, in violation of running the stop sign.
2. He was, in fact, in violation of not presenting his I.D. to the officer.
3. Under the guise of civil liberty, he acted like an ass.
We don't need people like this.

Civil dis yes. I'm not down with being intentionally disrespectful during a traffic stop just to aggravate the LEO. When the final totals come in we want them on our side not still firing from the other side. You might have talked your way out of the ticket and maybe educated the LEO but you chose a different path. Can't say that I agree but it's your path. You gotsa walk it.

When ever they try to "process" you, request that you go before a magistrate IMMEDIATELY. Check with your local penal codes and quote the code that requires them to take you before a magistrate PRIOR to taking you to jail. Imprisonment without a court date is kidnapping. If they DON"T charge you and put something on the court agenda, they have no right to jail you. Check with your local laws and I'll bet you it's on the books. It's part of the right to a speedy trial in the constitution.
