@TrainsitFan - Sorry for the error there, it was actually summer 2003 that Savage switched S.F. stations. My apologies. I remember the whole brouhaha as if it were yesterday. Just got the first three numbers in the year wrong.

@wmbrown6 actually you mean around 2003-4. Too young to know about Groucho Marx, so not quite sure about any comparisons there, but I would tend to agree about it more being an insult to Mr. Marx.

@TrainsitFan - Levin actually owes his stint at WABC to Savage's having left KSFO in San "Fransicko" for KNEW in 1983, and WABC retaliating by taking "The Savage Nation" off the air. Though in a way, comparing Levin to Groucho could be considered an insult to Mr. Marx and his memory.
