Saw these guys in the mid seventies in the Harvard Square Theater in Cambridge, MA. Jerry Jeff Walker was the opening act. What a freakin' great night!
I saw them for free in East Lansing in the mid 70's with Bonnie, Emmylou, and Linda Ronstad. I'm can still picture Bonnie and Linda in their miniskirts. That's some talent.
Just saw Feats in Key West. Great show. They kind have come full-circle, sadly without Lowell George. It was an awesome jam and felt like 30-some years ago!
Man what an eccentric genius Lowell was, and Bill Payne's keys! Ritchie Hayward is an awesome drummer too. They're all great. Saw em in Columbus Ohio several years ago and it was just tremendous. Paul Barerre deftly handled slide duties. Tremendous version of Dylan's "Takes A Lot To Laugh, Takes A Train To Cry". They're still going strong, check em out if they come around your area. Guaranteed good time!
