I hear ya!! ....I ordered the HC for my Trex.....just seem cool!
Nice one, I don't care about the 'ethics' of using HC, I'm looking at AP & FPV video surveilance, so looks ideal.

Depending on the heli you're using, you may want to look at the HC Profi, as I think that has altitude hold too. I have a 3D, and it certainly helps with making it a much more stable camera platform.

hey how does this helicommand work ive heard of it b4 but wasnt sure how it worked???

It works by having your cyclic servos connected via the Helicommand. It has motion sensors inside and a downward facing camera. If it detects movement in any horizontal axis, it moves the servos to correct it and keep the heli level. It has no control over height, and you can configure it to let you have as much manual control of the heli as you like. It's helped me learn and kept up my enthusiasm and reduced my crash count :-)

oh also does it work inverted???

To be honest, I'm not a good enough pilot to have ever tried it! I know for certain that the 3A version doesn't, and as the camera would be pointing to the sky while inverted, I can't see how the positional mode could work. If I get any better and try it I'll let you know.
As you so rightly say, crash count=money count :-)
