We, The Fire Makers (The New Filth)

The band, as We, The Fire Makers, was officially created in April 2008 and is composed of Kyle Davidson, Carlos Rios, Luciano Silva, Marko Woloshyn and Matthew Cumberbatch. However, going back as far as 2005 every member of the band was well on their way to somehow making music a very deep and permanent part of their life. Coming together from an array of past bands such as Phoenix Reborn (2004-06), Of All Things (2005-07), Broken Promises (2005-06), Capriole/This New Disease (2006-08), The Cityscape (2007), Eunuch (2005-08) and many more, it was just a matter of time before the right people got together to create a band with a sound unique enough to allow them to take the next steps.

In April 2008, Eunuch, which included Kyle and Marko, joined with Carlos, Luciano, and Matt (all of which were former members of Capriole and Cityscape) and ended up keeping/slightly modifying the tracks which were originally composed by Eunuch.The bands first EP Know Sh*t was recorded in the summer of 2008 by Ryan Mills at Sleepytown Studios (The Most Serene Republic, Fox Jaws, Meligrove Band) in Scarborough, Ontario. The Tracks Candy Glass, Pieschkenpowzen, and Sin & Salivation from the EP were a result of the unification of the two bands that ultimately formed We, The Fire Makers. Know Sh*t is now available on iTunes.

A year after their first release, the band decided to polish and re-release five tracks from the previous EP and include seven new tracks making it their first full-length record. It was recorded in the summer of 2009 by Greg Dawson at BWC Studios (The End, Moneen, The Arkells, The Reason) in Brampton, Ontario. "We, The Fire Makers" will be available across Canada in HMV and in iTunes in late 2009.
