Wait... the story isn't finished.Halo 3 ODST came out, then Halo Reach. (but ODST was after Halo 2 and before Halo 2, Reach was before Halo 1) What about Halo 4 coming out this year? Was it because this was because Halo 4 wasn't heard of yet?

I agree that the levels got really boring and repetitive later on in the game. I got this game because I've never played the original and I enjoy it for what it is.

@TheWTFBOOM because they hadn't thought about giving it much plot. they just wanted to make a good game. then, when they saw how much people wanted a sequel, they thought about adding plot. thats where the books came in.

The plot is definitely a love it or hate it idea in Halo.

I enjoyed it for what it was, but who gives a shit?

Gameplay > Story in terms of importance.

I don't think you should have to read a book to get back story on a game the game should tell the storyand I get why the do it but its just a way to be lazy when designing the game and a to make more money by making someone buy books and comics to get the back story.
