Everyone agrees that reform is needed in the delivery of health care in America, but not all agree on how to bring about such reform.

  • B.Obamas Health Care Legislation.... Will it save american voters. .? American view points are important!! Check out my youtube profile and learn how

  • Bottom line - if you want to provide healthcare to people currently uninsured - SOMEONE will pay for it and tha means people working will be taxed / charged more. I do not want to pay for someone to get a free ride as healthcare is not a right guarenteed by the constitution and if someone is seriously hurt, they get seen today in our emergency rooms. We need an ethic in this country that encourages everyone to work and row their own boat.

  • "Nobody would aregue that the US offers the best healthcare in the world"

Uhhhh, total conservative lie right there. We have the worst healthcare system of any advanced nation

  • profit is a result of incentive to gain employees through superior service, just as the incentive in an olympic race is to win the gold medal. if you restrict all the runners in that race to run the same speed so that they all run as slow as the slowest runner, and they all get the same tinfoil medal, then there is no incentive for them to strive higher. so by taking profit out of an industry there is no way to improve service and youll have to create a price ceiling to lower price = shortages.

  • This thing is both terrible and boring. Congrats to all involved.

  • amen dkinau ... the health care industry is already regulated by the insurance industry - who make huge profits - and require the delivery of less and less service. Nationalize the Insurance Industry - for health care, homeowners, auto and America will be much better served. Take the Profit out Insurance!!! and the service will improve and the costs will go down!!

  • @FHTiger,

People go down to Mexico and other South American countries because procedures cost about 1/10 = 10% yes, one tenth of the price here. Europe costs 1/3 to 1/5 of the price here.

The police department and the fire department are almost 100% government, they are not in the constitution.

Higher Education (universities) are an example of a mixed system where public compete with private, you still pay to go to a state school; if you have the money you pay for private.

    .

  • Onlyrey:

    - The people who go to Mexico are going because they have been coerced from some 'doctor' that couldn't get licensed in the U.S.

    - Housing is cheaper there too. Why don't you live there?

    - I like it here and don't think National Healthcare is covered by the constitution.

  • seriously? This is why we just ranked 48th in Education, the landed gentry scares old people and ultra-Conservatives with misinformation like this video. API will never be the Heritage Foundation - ever.
