what if the outside of the case is plastic ? will touching metal on the inside of the chassis still discharge you ?

@rtb3796 yeh, I think you turn off the little I/O switch to O at the back of the PSU (what I like to do is have that and a power switch that its plugged into off so the ground comes through the power strip and into the PSU but no electricity).

if i touch any metal near me will discharge me?because i have a fully acrylic case

with a desktop do you plug the psu cable into the wall but turn the power off at the wall?
