@kibble999 M8 youve bascially jus listed a load of different types of corn. The best baits for roach are maggots caster and hemp. If you fished corn and i fished maggot i would without doubt outfish you. As far as boilies go m8 u might fluke a bigun on a 20mm boilie but its nowhere near the best tactic to catch them.

why do they make fishing look so complicated... it really isn't. If you need more than $100 worth of fishing gear and tackle (rod/reel included), your not doing it right. If you need to analyze this much to go fishing, your wasting your time.

..... baits i use: pellets, boiles, maggots, corn, strawberry corn, scopex corn, tutti frutti corn and hempseed and dont forget thee old breadcrumb if u wannt my advise just contact me taa :)

I fished a dyke at the side of a mixed lake...i caught about 13-14 roach using 2 red maggots in about an hour...weights varying from about 6oz to 1lb 2oz. I was fishing on slow flowing water about 1 3/4 foot deep, slightly above the bottom. Red maggots are a good bait for the roach.
