Captured NC Surfer's Enjoying 9-12 Foot Waves from Hurricane Bill

Stopped by the Oceanana pier off Atlantic Beach NC to see what the surf looked like. I was happy to see a few surfers out enjoying Gods awesome power! The crowd on the pier, including myself, were enjoying it also! This is just too cool because we never get waves like this here. Atlantic Beach is typically 2-4 feet. At the end of the Oceanana pier, the pylons were rock'in pretty good when some of these sets came in. I felt like I was watching the ocean at North Shore, Hawaii (not really just hoping for some good hits to this video!) These guys where really ripping and some were getting crushed! I saw one guy riding in a barrel for at least 10 seconds but I didn't get it on video. East Coast surfers can Surf!
