Public Enemy Live 1992 (Hip Hop / Hiphop / Rap) Milli Vanilli / PM Dawn Diss

Milli Vanilli?
Well, we all know the story about that lipsyncing duo Milli Vanilli rakin' in the dough and snatching all kinda awards away from artists that really deserved them.
And PM Dawn?
They had a poppy rap single out in 1991 called Set Adrift On A Memory Bliss.
Commercial crap?
Check that one out on youtube and judge for yourself.
However Public Enemy always tried to keep the Hip Hop scene united.
As it was still a fragile thing back then, they made a strong point not to diss your fellow rappers but to help them even if they were not making the kind of hip hop you'd like to listen to.
But when pop rap duo PM Dawn dissed hip hop artists such as Public Enemy, KRS One/Boogie Down Productions and Ice Cube in an interview they really should have seen it comin'.
During one of their concerts PM Dawn rapper Prince Be even got tossed off stage by Boogie Down Productions and their posse.

  • YAIII BOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

  • does he get the crowd to say "NOOO" to Milli Vanilli???

wow, i will never listen to public enemy again...

  • PM Dawn? Fuck That Mothafucka ahahah XD, Flava killed it

  • I actually love PM Dawn's 2nd and 3rd albums (never heard their first one). They aren't aggressive, have a clean, melodic kind of sound, and as they said so themselves, they are more like songwriters who sometimes work with hiphop rather than rappers. But I don't think they're "commercial" or "crap".
