This is something quite interesting. This particular style of toilet is usually found in homes where there is no running water/plumbing or where plumbing problems are very common. In this case there was a plumbing problem throughout the village. Basically water is poured into the bowl with a scoop(also known as a TABO in the Philippines) to flush it. That water is not just used for flushing...its also used for bathing or washing ur bottom. You would be lucky to find toilet paper in most places. Water is pumped from a well and brought into the house to fill the barrels up.

  • @judgerofwars Yes if you wish too that! Just fill up a bucket of water and just dump it straight down the toilet and watch it go down.
