i don't like quills they take to long my commander wants the gun to go off when he says fire. although we shooting competetion no reenacting

that was the opening salvo for that battle. You can tell the ones using friction primers, and the ones using quills and a linstock. We were ready for the 2nd salvo in under 2 minutes.
