I first heard Cliff when he opened for "Cry Cry Cry" (Dar Williams, Richard Shindell & Lucy Kaplansky) at Kane Hall - University of Washington in Seattle in the mid 90's... or was it for Just Dar? anyway, he was awesome! I just searched him because Richard Shindell's cover of Cliffs "Memphis" was just on XM 15 "The Village" - So many from these under-heard greats. Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer, David Wilcox, John Gorka... Generations to come will find these-
