Cleo left to Die in a cardboard box -read her story and UPDATE****CLEO

UPDATE and STORY of CLEO: On Jan 27th 2009 CLEO was adopted from Noah's Kingdom Humane Society. A wonderful family decided to give this special cat a second chance on life. As you may recall, Cleo (and her kittens) were the victims of animal cruelty. Someone placed Cleo and her kittens into a cardboard box and then sealed it with duct tape and left them to die a miserable and painful death. Thankfully a volunteer heard crys from the box and saved them from this horrific act of abuse and neglect. (if we find out their identity they could face jail time under Buster' Law enacted in New York State) the GOOD NEWS is that Cleo and her kittens now all have homes. Cleo is a loving and sweet cat, she loves attention and we are so please that she has found a good and loving home! Congratulations to Cleo and her new family!***************
An incredible act of cruelty has happened to Cleo. Somebody placed her in a cardboard box and taped it shut leaving her to die a horrible and painful death. Fortunatly a passerby noticed the box, unwrapped it and found poor Cleo inside of it. She was brought to our shelter and is now in search of a proper and loving home. This crime is PUNISHABLE UNDER BUSTER'S LAW in New York State.
Cleo is about 1 and a half years old. She has given birth to kittens. All her kittens were adpoted and now she needs a good home. She is now fixed and won't be having any more kittens! This cat deserves a wonderful loving home please adopt her!.
Noah's Kingdom Humane Society is an all VOLUNTEER, not for profit organization dedicated to animal rescue, adoption and ending animal overpopulation. The cats and dogs we have for adoption are rescued from traditional shelters where they may have been euthanized. In addition, we also aquire cats and dogs from a variety of rescue situations. Cleo reminds me of a beautiful kitten I once had. Her name was Patches and unfortunately she is not with us anymore. I hope that Cleo gets a home and lives a happy life full of purrs! And that person can go to hell for all I care, he/she doesn't deserve to have a life if he/she can't respect life.

Poor little angels. I am so glad that she and the kittens are okay, that is awful what that monster did to them! I hope whoever did that to her and the kittens gets punished!
