  • People need to start reading and understand more. This CKO Kickboxing is mostly to burn calories not to go on some kickboxing competition nor go kick someone's butt outside. It's a cardio exercise.

  • i have been to 3 classes, just signed up. It feels so good to start something that makes you feel great!

  • Adrian - this is more for fitness. we use heavy bags but it is noncontact. we only use the techniques associated with kickboxing, in conjunction with cardio, strength and boot-camp style exercises. :)

  • i thinks theres to many people there to learn how to fight and compete 100%

  • people have to stop telling woman that there work out will help them in a situation...& get the proper training to teach self defense!

also if you do not teach proper technique their going to run into alot of problems with their joint in the long run.

teaching is an art to itself....even after many years of your own personal training you MUST learn how to teach.

  • yes it can boost confidence. But a real situation you need the training for awareness & shock value. that's why confidence can be your enemy! a kick to the groin which most woman flock too will 85% of the time just really piss the attacker off more.

you have to tell students that this is NOT a self deference course! just a work out, not even skills are taught how to properly kick a bag or punch. people need more training then just boot camp work out.

  • Hitting a heavy bag can help develope some punching/kicking power, which certainly can help in self defense.

  • Good workout, but i hope no one walks out of there thinking that they can defend them self?
